Best’s service doors are recommended for openings of all types, standard
or custom. For industrial commercial and institutional buildings ,our
doors offer rugged protection against severe weather conditions as well
as forced entry.
Doors are mounted on the inside face of the opening ,
between jambs ,or on the exterior face where clearance restrictions
require such positioning. Curtains roll up compactly in a tight coil
above the opening height ,thus permitting full use of interior space.
The doors can be operated by motor, chain hoist, crank hoist or, in the
case of smaller doors, manually pushed up. Best’s production standard is
based on windloadings of 60 pounds per square foot,with heavier
windloadings to be met when necessary.

| FIRE DOORS |

 The BEST
ROLLING DOOR's Model 45 is recommended in situations where fire door
protection is required.The Fire Door is a vertically acting fire
door which is UL classified for up to four hours in both masonry and
dry wall installations.
In the event of a fire alarm, power failure, or the breaking of a
fusible link, the hold open brake is released and the door
self-closes without the aide of electricity or battery back-up. The
rate of descent is controlled by a centrifugal governor, which is
engaged when the closing speed of the door reaches six inches per
second.
